THE SALON OF ART SCHOOL

A unique oil painting experience housed in an elegant Parisian inspired building reminiscent of the Impressionist era in Mission Hills, San Diego, known as The Salon of Art & Gallery. Students of all ages and abilities are welcome, no experience is necessary. Fine Art Instruction ranges from introductory theme sessions, independent, advanced fine oil to private appointments. In addition, fine art lectures, en plein air painting experiences, specialty oil events, luncheon gallery excursions, and worldwide painting trips are just a few of the additional artistic adventures awaiting Salon students.

OIL PAINTING CLASSES

Five-week programs meet once a week for five consecutive weeks, totaling 17.5 hours of instruction*

All ages - Older children and teens welcome

Daytime classes are from 11:00am to 2:30pm; Evening classes are from 6:00 to 9:30pm

Category One and Two students complete one painting, Category Three and Four will complete five paintings (one per week)

Full process demonstrations by the artist instructor (all programs)

Technical overviews, critique forums and introductory content lectures

All required supplies are always available for purchase during programs

CHILD ART EVENT & SUMMER CAMP
